1. Use of DotGuard Products and Services: DotGuard provides vehicle protection programs, UID marking kits, and access to the National Asset Protection Registry. These services are intended for legitimate use by registered dealerships, law enforcement agencies, and verified customers. You agree not to misuse any DotGuard tools for fraudulent, unlawful, or unauthorized purposes. Tampering with UID tags, falsifying VIN records, or misrepresenting registry information is strictly prohibited.

2. Intellectual Property Protection: All trademarks, logos, designs, and platform content—including text, visuals, and registry data—are the exclusive property of DotGuard and protected under applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. Users may not replicate, distribute, modify, or repurpose DotGuard content without express written consent. Unauthorized use of our branding, visual assets, or proprietary technology is grounds for termination and potential legal action.

3. Registry Access and Ownership Rights: Dealerships and registered users may access the National Asset Protection Registry to verify part markings, registration records, and ownership status. DotGuard retains sole ownership of all registry data, including timestamps, UID records, and linked vehicle profiles. Users are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of submitted data. Any misuse of registry access, including data scraping or unauthorized sharing, will result in revoked access privileges.

4. Law Enforcement Collaboration: DotGuard partners with law enforcement agencies to support vehicle recovery, crime prevention, and asset verification. By participating in DotGuard programs, you agree that relevant data (e.g. VIN, UID, registration history) may be securely shared with verified law enforcement partners as needed to facilitate theft investigations and recover stolen assets. DotGuard ensures such data sharing is conducted under strict privacy and legal compliance standards.
